Founded in 2005, MOCA Shanghai is located on West Nanjing Road, within Renmin Park. It is one of the few private-owned art museums that also excel in curating exhibitions. The museum continues to promote modern art and design and has held retrospective exhibitions for fashion houses Dior and Prada. Their Yayoi Kusama exhibition also attracted a great number of visitors. On a fine day, you can take in Shanghai’s urban landscape on their rooftop terrace restaurant. Their food and wine selection is exceptional—especially their braised pork.
