Hidden in a corner of Taiping Shang Street, Teakha is a small tea shop which sells special teas from all over the world. The owner, Nana, used to be a lawyer in Taiwan. She loves drinking tea and opened the shop to promote the philosophy that “tea drinking is easy.” There aren’t many seats in the shop, but there are freshly made tea and nicely made, highly recommended cakes. Come on a week day when it’s not so crowded—sit outdoor and read a book, enjoy a cup of tea and their signature scone, you’ll realize that it’s actually possible to enjoy a slow life in Hong Kong.
