Xiang Se serves Western cuisine with an Asian twist; simple old goods from all over the world have created a completely different world behind the door—the French countryside hidden in the middle of Taipei City. Wooden long tables, benches and a stone floor creates an old and primitive space. Old stuff are put outdoors randomly to complete this unique outdoor dining space in Taipei. Beautiful food presentation makes it almost a shame to eat it. Xiang Se shows how a well-designed space can enhance one’s dining experience, inviting diners to experience a more intricate and profound taste.
