Most of the time Jacky works on graphic design, but sometimes he also works on illustration. In 2015, he was the winner of Hong Kong’s “Young Writers’ Debut Competition” with his animal rights-themed illustration book “What We Deserve” (人間等活). He spent his entire childhood in Central and Western District; that’s why he chose to plant his roots in this area where old and new, west and east meet. He likes things with a past, especially wood cabinets full of marks—slightly bent shelf which bore the weight of goods or scratches left by previous shop cats...they seem to carry many stories. To him, the kindness and warmth felt in old shops is the most precious thing.
