Former lifestyle store art designer/design director Mao is now the owner of BW General Store, a patisserie and living goods shop. He describes himself as someone who “retells” living spaces, which means he transcribes experiences in life into a new space. Apart from work, his favorite thing to do is to travel and to discover new things. When he’s on his bike, he often takes detours to check out alleys he’s never been to before. His favorite Taiwanese food is pork chop rice (the pork chop has to been deep-fried before being braised) and braised pork rice.
